About the Building Services Engineering Department

Modern buildings rely on complex engineering systems to keep people safe, comfortable and connected. Building Services Engineers design, install and maintain essential services such as heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing and energy systems, helping buildings operate efficiently and sustainably.

At Glasgow Kelvin College, you'll develop the practical skills and technical knowledge needed for a career in this specialist engineering sector. Through hands-on learning in industry-standard workshops, you'll gain experience using professional equipment while developing an understanding of sustainable building technologies, health and safety, and modern engineering practices.
